How can Verstappen finish third?

Even though Max Verstappen has revealed that he does not care whether he finishe third or fifth, there is still a scenario where the Dutchman can jump Finnish pair Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas at the season ending race in Abu Dhabi this weekend. Verstappen has been in the form of his life, finishing on the podium in six of the last eight races, and winning in Mexico. He has a good chance of overtaking Bottas, who has failed to win a race this season and is only three points ahead of Verstappen.
