Ricciardo: "It's gonna be a very lonely race for Verstappen"

The top ten for Silverstone's second Grand Prix almost all start on the yellow medium band. That tyre was the softest tyre before and again turned out to be the fastest tyre for many teams. Not for Max Verstappen, because he drove the second qualifying session on the white tyre, Pirelli's hardest tyre this weekend. With that he managed to go to Q3 and that's why he's starting on that tyre as well. According to Daniel Ricciardo, who will start from fifth place behind Verstappen, the choice of the Dutchman is striking. "It's a special situation with Max.
