Full results FP1 | Verstappen within one tenth of Bottas and Hamilton
The first free practice session at the Spa-Francorhamps circuit is over and it was Valtteri Bottas who set the fastest time. The Mercedes driver managed to lap some seven hundredths faster than Lewis Hamilton. Max Verstappen was less than a tenth and certainly not far away. However, the Red Bull Racing driver should keep an eye on the Racing Point cars, because they seem to be very competitive in Belgium.
