Sergio Perez inks two-year contract extension with Red Bull

Red Bull announced today that Sergio Perez will be racing with them for two more seasons having extended his current contract up to the end of 2024. The announcement comes fresh after Sergio Perez' victory at the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix last Sunday, as the Mexican now sits third in the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship 15 points behind teammate Max Verstappen, the Championship leader. Perez said: 'For me, this has been an incredible week, winning the Monaco Grand Prix is a dream for any driver and then to follow that with announcing I will continue with the Team until 2024 just makes me extremely happy.
