Sainz set for engine-change penalty at Monza
Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz is set for an engine-change penalty in this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. The Spanish driver retired from the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa due to a problem with his Renault power unit, which will be replaced for the upcoming race at Monza. As it will be the sixth engine of the season, Sainz will face a 10-place grid penalty. The Toro Rosso driver said he was still optimistic of a strong race. "I'm positive even if I'll have to take a 10-place grid penalty," he said. "I really want to at least gain all those positions back in the race."
